Gregory Vaughn, DDS

My profession allows me to help patients of all ages. I enjoy establishing meaningful relationships and friendships with them, and I especially enjoy watching our younger patients become young adults! I also enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience while teaching at the University of Washington.

Education

I first attained my Bachelor of Arts from the University of Puget Sound before going on to the University of the Pacific, where I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Afterwards, I went on to the University of California at Los Angeles, where I received my Post-Doctoral residency, specializing in Orthodontics.

Continuing Education

I am involved in several local study clubs focusing on complex interdisciplinary treatment. I am a Clinical Assistant professor at the University of Washington School of Dentistry, where I supervise patient care and lecture to the orthodontic residents on various topics. I am also a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
 
As a part of my continuing education, I am also an active member of the following organizations:

• Washington State Society of Orthodontists
• Washington Dental Association
• King County Dental Association
• Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists

In the Practice

I love my job! I enjoy employing the latest techniques and technologies in comprehensive orthodontic treatment. I love being a part of the incredible transformations that take place for our patients as they progress in orthodontic treatment. I consider myself lucky to be able to work with such wonderful patients and help them achieve their goals, improving their smiles and creating healthy bites.

I enjoy the relationships we create with our patients. We pride ourselves on being very personable, approachable and caring. We love watching our young patients grow and our adult patients transform into more confident people during treatment!

We are a progressive orthodontic practice that incorporates the most current technologies and techniques to provide the best orthodontic treatment available. We cherish the relationships we develop with our patients. We are blessed with experienced, friendly and professional team members. We enjoy working together to create beautiful smiles for our patients!

Family Life

I am originally from Olympia and have lived in Seattle for more than 10 years now. At home, I have a wonderful family, including my beautiful wife, Paola, our daughter, Gabriella, and our son, Claudio. I love to spend time with my family. I also enjoy snowboarding, hiking, running, cycling and paddle boarding.
 
I am also active in the community, and participate in all of the local school auctions with significant donations. I also enjoy the opportunity I have to teach at the UW, in the Department of Orthodontics.
