Dr. Gregory Vaughn was born and raised in Olympia, Washington, and earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Puget Sound. Dr. Vaughn earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of the Pacific, in San Francisco, graduating with high honors. He was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon (National dental honor society) and was awarded the Clinical Excellence Award, for highest clinical scholarship. He completed his post-doctoral residency at the University of California at Los Angeles, specializing in Orthodontics. Dr. Vaughn is an affiliate assistant professor at the University of Washington, Department of Orthodontics.

Dr. Vaughn is also a published author, most recently co-authoring a chapter (Mineralized Tissues in Oral and Craniofacial Science: Biological Principals and Clinical Correlates, First Edition) entitled “Clinical Correlate: biomechanics of teeth in bone”.
In his spare time, Dr. Vaughn enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, running and snowboarding.
Dr. Vaughn is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Washington State Society of Orthodontists, the Washington and King County Dental Associations and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists. He is also a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics.
