Michaela | Orthodontic Assistant

I joined Drs. Leone and Vaughn orthodontic team with over 5 years of experience as an orthodontic assistant. I am so excited to be a part of this practice! I love to help the Drs. in creating beautiful smiles for our patients. Being a part of that transformation from beginning to end is so rewarding to me. I love getting to know our patients and especially watching our young patients grow up. When I’m not in the office I love being active and enjoy the outdoors with my family. I enjoy practicing yoga and spending time with my husband, Nick, two teenage daughters, Najah and Ellesse and my dogs.

Joan | Financial Coordinator

I’m a native to the Seattle area and have been working in the dental field for over 30 years. About 18 years ago I changed from working in general dentistry to orthodontics and have never looked back. Here at Leone and Vaughn Ortho, I work with patient financing, billing and insurance. I love seeing the difference having a beautiful smile can make in our patients’ self – esteem and appearance. I have three grown, married children and six beautiful grandchildren. I love spending time with my large family, as well as boating, gardening, and traveling with my husband and friends.

Laura | Scheduling Coordinator

I started working for Leone and Vaughn Orthodontics as a Clinical Assistant and I’m now a Scheduling Coordinator with my other half Khadra…. Of the “Swirl” I mean. I am one of the initial people to greet you at your arrival to LVO. I love coming to work every day because I always have a good time getting to know our patients. I was born in Olympia, WA and graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition. While attending college I coxed the women’s rowing team and was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. I enjoy skiing, running, the Barre Method, playing with my pooch Paisley and spending time with my handsome and hysterical husband Adam.

Tuesday | Treatment and Front Office Coordinator

Hi my name is Tuesday. I am the Treatment and Front Office Coordinator with Leone and Vaughn Orthodontics. I am so privileged to be a part of this wonderful team. It is more than orthodontics here; it is building long lasting relationships. The most rewarding part of my day is meeting with our new patients and welcoming them to our “family”.

I was born and raised in Hawaii and I am so proud to call Seattle home. I have worked in many positions within the dental field for over 20 years. My journey has led me right here to Dr. Leone and Dr. Vaughn. Our practice is always learning, growing and utilizing the latest in science and technologies. I am able to utilize my knowledge and experience every day; I have a wonderful and rewarding career. In my spare time I enjoy time with my husband and my two wonderful sons. We love to be outdoors and making the trip home to Hawaii as often as possible.

Khadra | Front Desk Coordinator

Hello, my name is Khadra, I am one of the first people you will see when you come in the door. I am one of the front desk coordinators also known as “the swirl.” I have been working with Drs. Leone and Vaughn since 2007. I love coming to work every day and seeing our patients achieve the smile they have always wanted. I’ve recently gone back to school and love the support I’ve been receiving from Dr. Leone and Dr. Vaughn and my fabulous co workers. I was born in Mogadishu, Somalia and my family moved to Seattle after the civil war broke out in 1991. I can say Seattle is HOME. When I’m not out scoping out the latest fashions I am spending time with my lovely family and the Vaughn kids, Claudio and Gabriella. They have practically adopted me into their family.

Brittainy | Orthodontic Assistant

Hi I’m Brittainy. I am a orthodontic assistant for Leone and Vaughn. I have been an orthodontic assistant for over 5 years. I am from Steilacoom, Washington and was a previous commuter. Working for Leone and Vaughn has been so enjoyable I decided to make the move up to the big city! I graduated from Clover Park Technical College for dental assisting degree and also became orthodontic certified. In my free time I enjoy hanging with my friends, traveling and shopping!

Linda B. | Orthodontic Assistant

I joined Drs. Leone and Vaughn’s office with many years of experience as an orthodontic assistant. I love helping the doctors create beautiful smiles for our patients. I feel so blessed to be working with not only two great orthodontists but also a wonderful and caring staff. I live in Kirkland with my husband Dennis and two awesome boys, Patrick and Sean, who are both in college. I enjoy watching my sons play baseball and am their biggest fan! At home I enjoy watching movies, taking care of my family and my sweet cat named Louise.

Rattana | Orthodontic Assistant

Hi, my name is Rattana! I’ve been an orthodontist assistant for almost 5 years now and loving every bit of it! Orthodontics is a fast pace environment which makes it fun and exciting. I’m always learning something new about the field and I’m able to meet many interesting people. I feel joyful to be able to help people get the smile they deserve and help boost their confidence just with a flash of a smile! During my downtime, I enjoy the simple things in life. Sipping hot tea on a gloomy day, cuddling with my dog, Nuggy and spending quality time with my husband, Ron.

Chanthavy | Orthodontic Assistant

Hi my name is Chanthavy, I am a clinical assistant with Leone and Vaughn orthodontics for over 5 years. I enjoy working here with such wonderful and amazing doctors and
staff.. This year marks my 10th year as a dental assistant . I love what I do because I help create healthy and beautiful smiles. I had my braces done here, now my teeth are
perfectly straight. Outside of work I enjoy time with my 8 year old daughter Qulani. I love to teach her our language which is Cambodian. We also enjoy swimming.

Brian | Lab Technician

I have been the Lab Technician at Leone & Vaughn since 2009. As a “Jack of all Trades”, I have been in dentistry since 1997. One of the many things I love about L & V is the variety of cases I get to see every day and the challenges they present. My favorite pastimes include spending time with my family, reading and learning new subjects, fishing, and gaming.

Linda A. | Clinical Assistant and Clinical Coordinator

I am the lead clinical assistant and clinical coordinator at Leone and Vaughn Orthodontics. I have over 30 years of experience working in the field of orthodontics. I enjoy working with Drs. Leone and Vaughn because of the cutting edge orthodontic experience they provide to our patients. I also enjoy continuing my education with the new learning experiences within the office. When I’m not educating patients and fellow team members or working in our in office lab, I enjoy being outdoors and working in my garden. I also love spending time with my husband, our children, and our two grandsons.

Michelle | Orthodontic Assistant

Michelle joined Leone and Vaughn in August of 2012 after working in orthodontics since she was 16 years old. She came to Leone and Vaughn excited about working in one of the most elite offices in Seattle, and continues to enjoy the challenge and pace of this unique office.

Michelle is the mom to the three most-adorable children, and spends most of her free time playing at the park, going to soccer, basketball, piano or ballet with them. Her husband is an excellent and experienced chef, currently working as Lead Instructor for Le Cordon Bleu. Ironically, Michelle actually does the majority of cooking at home. Most of Michelle’s free time is spent with her family, reading, or playing the piano.

Rachel | Patient Coordinator

I’m the new patient coordinator at Leone and Vaughn Orthodontics. I’ve been in the dental field for over 6 years. I enjoy the personal connection I can make with patients before they even step foot in our door. I recently moved to Washington from Michigan and being a part of a wonderful team has made me feel at home. I enjoy being outdoors; camping, gardening, biking and doing yoga. I also love spending time with my 3 wonderful dogs.
